ZACCHAEUS SYCAMORES

Zacchaeus was a wee little man, and a wee little man was he, BUT, he repented.  It was his repentant heart that we truly know him for. When he climbed up that Sycamore tree to get a better look at Jesus, his desire to see the Son of God cut through all of the sins of his past. 

When Jesus told him to climb down from the tree and host Jesus at his home, Zacchaeus, the tax collector, would never be the same again. Repentance is a very powerful heart change. Show the world that you've repented of your past ways, and that you're seeking Jesus' face just like Zacchaeus did. 

Luke 19:1-6

1 Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. 2 A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. 3 He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.5 When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.” 6 So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.
