DECREE & DECLARE 

Our Lord and Savior was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist, and then Jesus proceeded to fast and pray for 40 days and nights. While fasting, he was tempted by the satan and told that if he were to bow down and worship the satan, that he would give him all the kingdoms of the world. 

We know that the devil is a liar and Jesus knew that fact as well, so he told satan to get away from him because the only one that he would ever bow down to is the Lord our God.
